Mike’s career as a financial advisor spans 3 decades. He is the Founder and CEO of Legacy Wealth, a boutique financial services firm focused on serving clients by providing timeless wisdom and counsel for all aspects of their planning, in order to remove the anxiety and uncertainty that so often surrounds financial decisions and replace it with joy and contentment.
Drawing on Mike’s many years of experience, Legacy Wealth has developed both a unique focus on wealth transition planning and a sophisticated values-based approach to asset management. Mike has acquired expertise in helping his clients not only manage the legacies they have built, but also in helping them transition their wealth to future generations and charitable organizations that are meaningful to them.
Mike has acquired many professional designations throughout his career, which speak to his expertise in planning. These designations include a Master’s Degree in Financial Services, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Accredited Estate Planner, Accredited Investment Fiduciary, and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. He has also accomplished numerous industry achievements, such as his 14-time membership in the prestigious “Top of the Table” in the Million Dollar Round Table, which represents the top half of 1% of advisors in the industry. He has been voted a top Wealth Manager by Five Star Professional for the last five years, is a Qualified Advisor with Kingdom Advisors, and he is a member of multiple industry-affiliated organizations, including M Financial Group. He currently sits on the Member Firm Relations Committee with M Financial Group.
Mike lives in Woodbury with his wife of 30 years, Debbie, and their nine children and grandchild. He currently serves in several community- and ministry-oriented capacities as a member of the governing boards and councils, including: The Bethel University Board of Governors and Board of Trustees, New Life Family Services Board, Hope Academy Board of Directors, and New Life Academy Governing Council.
Matthew joined Legacy Wealth in 2014. He grew up in Woodbury and currently resides there with his own family. He attended New Life Academy and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bethel University. While there, he earned his B.A. in Business with an emphasis in both finance and accounting. He and his wife recently had their first child, and he is enjoying the role of first-time dad. In his free time Matthew enjoys golfing, racquet sports, snowboarding, and spending time with family.
Ben has been with Legacy Wealth since the Spring of 2011. He graduated from Bethel University in 2010, earning a degree in Business with a finance emphasis, and worked with the Minneapolis Financial Group before joining his father at Legacy Wealth. He received his CFA designation in 2016.
Ben grew up in Woodbury where he attended New Life Academy, and he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, playing cards, and watching basketball and football in his spare time.
Tianna has served as a Client Services Representative and the Office Manager for Legacy Wealth since 2009. She holds an A.S. in Business Administration, a B.A. in Piano Performance and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership. She enjoys working in the financial industry and currently holds her Minnesota Life Insurance license along with her LTC certification. Tianna lives in Woodbury with her husband, son, and dog. She loves hanging out with family, watching movies, shopping, and playing cards.
Emily has served as office assistant and now is our Client Relationship Manager as of March 2018. Emily grew up in Woodbury and graduated with her Bachelors degree in Communication Studies from the University of Wisconsin River-Falls. Emily has also obtained her Minnesota Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License.
When Emily is not in the office, she works part time as a dance instructor and choreographer for a local dance studio. She enjoys outdoor activities with her Fiancé, Family dinners, and of course playing with her Pomeranian puppy, Rocky
Amanda joined Legacy Wealth in January 2017. She grew up in Woodbury and went to New Life Academy. Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bethel University in 2016, earning her B.A. in Business with a Human Resource emphasis and a minor in Media Communications, and recently obtained her Minnesota Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys singing, going to the movies and theatre, watching British TV shows, and spending time with her friends and family.
Sydney joined Legacy Wealth in January 2018. She grew up in Woodbury and went to New Life Academy. Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Central University in 2017, earning a degree in Marketing.
Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking, and physical fitness.
